New & classic dishes in the Cas Gasi kitchen
Cas Gasi’s chef has devised a menu of delicate flavours, innovative combinations and classic dishes to inspire palates and nourish the soul. Along with traditional Mediterranean offerings there are plenty of salads and an array of super healthy dishes to suit everyone’s dietary needs. Cas Gasi’s recipe is very simple: fresh produce, organic wherever possible or harvested from the vegetable garden, cooked with a light touch and a whole lot of love.
Every season new dishes are added but of course loyal clients who return year after year will always see their favourites such as the Méjico Lindo. A simple dish that somehow invokes gasps of joy from those who try it, the dish features tomatoes and avocado direct from the onsite garden, combined with a marinade of lime and Tabasco and a smattering of coriander. Fresh and flavoursome, it’s a delight on the taste buds.
Cas Gasi’s homemade gazpacho is prepared in the traditional way of Andalucía. It’s the perfect afternoon pick-me-up and goes rather well with a serving of the Buñuelos de Bacalao. These salt cod croquettes are a modern take on the classic dish. Served on a slate board with tangy homemade mayonnaise, there is no better snack or starter, especially with a lovely glass of chilled wine. Another favourite on the menu is the ceviche made with local grouper and topped with fresh mango – think summer on a plate.
Along with the succulent meat dishes, traditional seafood paellas and a number of daily specials made depending on what is fresh and best at the market, the Cas Gasi kitchen truly has something to sate all appetites.
