TIME SLOWS TO A PLEASANT LULL HERE

Where life revolves around the picturesque eco-friendly pool. This rural retreat is only 12km from hedonistic Ibiza Town, but it may as well be on a different planet. At this family-run hotel, it’s very easy to feel at home. The suites are super private and the staff know exactly when to hel and when to discreetly dissapear. Bedrooms are cosy with wooden beams, pretty Spanish tiling and heavenly crisp sheets. With only ‘8.30am yoga’ in your diary, borrow one of the attractive coffee-table books and indulge in a digital detox in a hammock surrounded by fragant jasmine and orange blossom. The kitchen runs an organic-farm-to-plate policy, but don’t think that you can diet – the food is just too god. There’s creamy burrata cheese with tomatoes plucked from the vegetable plot, black paella rice with chunky lobster caught that day and home-made cheesecake adorned with fruit picked from the trees. Reserve an electric bike to explore the surrounding beaches, if you wish – but you are likely to prefer to remain firmly in the blissful Balearic bubble.
