An essential part of every Ibiza holiday is exploring the local boutiques, shops and markets, indulging in a spot of retail therapy. Cas Gasi owner Margaret says many of her guests come back from the beach in summer with amazing purchases from the beautiful beach boutiques attached to many restaurants.

High on the list of places to explore in Ibiza is the creative, artistic and bohemian north of the island – just a short drive from Cas Gasi – where you’ll find unique island treasures to cherish forever. The Las Dalias hippy market is iconic for a reason – rather than the typical ‘same old’ Indian trinkets and sarongs, local artisans present their beautiful and creative wares, from fine jewellery and leatherwear to arts, crafts and clothing. A little further up north, in San Juan, is the colourful World Family store – a must-visit for lovers of Ibiza boho style.

In the south, a trip to La Marina – a district within Ibiza town – is essential, where hundreds of shops line the winding streets, ranging from high street fashion to stylish finds. Be sure to visit the iconic Vicente Ganesha, another classic example of typical vintage Ibiza style.

In the centre of the island, quirky concept store Sluiz should be on your agenda – boasting a colourful array of everything but the kitchen sink (if you look hard enough, you’ll probably even find a kitchen sink!). From fashion to furniture and everything in between, it’s worth perusing the cavernous showroom just for fun. A little further up the road, San Miguel’s ‘Artisan Hill’ offers wonderful handmade leather goods, baskets, shoes and exceptional fine jewellery by Natasha Collis.

For those who can’t bear the thought of leaving the swimming pool for just one day, Cas Gasi offers its own unique, mini-boutique with a selection of goodies to satisfy your retail cravings (or need for souvenirs).
